Rowan Maguire

Chapter Chairperson
Rowan is currently a Security Risk Management Consultant at Inverus Group and has more than 20 years of experience across Defence, Defence industry, national security, aviation, and critical infrastructure. He specialises in all-hazards security and resilience, supporting organisations to strengthen protection, preparedness, and risk management outcomes.

Samarica Payne

Deputy Chairperson
Sam is the Security and Resilience Manager for Griffith University and has previously consulted globally in Crisis Management, Physical Security and Risk and Resilience for Critical Infrastructure, Public Service and the Private Sector. With a Master's in Emergency Management, Sam's spent 20 years in the Army (full and part time) as an Arabic linguist and Intelligence officer and is an Iraq war veteran.

Edwin Masih

Treasurer
Edwin is a seasoned security consultant with 20 years of experience across the security sector. His career spans roles as a system integrator, project manager, security consultant, and trusted advisor. He brings deep technical knowledge, strategic insight, and a strong track record of delivering effective, client‑focused security solutions.

Andi Gynn

Secretary
Andi bridges Defence security frameworks and operational outcomes, blending GRC expertise with a commercial risk mindset. A CMMC Registered Practitioner and Vetting Analyst, she excels in ICT accreditation and DISP applications. Her leadership of the Defence Industry Security Community of Practice demonstrates her commitment to uplifting Australia’s defence industrial base.
