Chris Zammit

Chapter Chairperson
Chris Zammit is a protective security, emergency management and risk practitioner, with over 16 years’ experience within the public safety realm. Serving ten years at Victoria Police, primarily within investigations and critical incident response, he transitioned into the private sector managing national emergency planning and response, protective security of staff and assets at the AFL, before moving into consultancy with Sheridan Consulting Group in 2020.

At Sheridan Consulting Group, he now leads international and local operations across a variety of sectors including major government infrastructure projects, corporate security risk management, through to international events and operational resiliency and readiness programs both in Australia and abroad including Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

Chris holds relevant tertiary qualifications in security, strategic and operational risk, crowd risk analysis, crisis and emergency management.

Dusan Losic CPP PSP

Deputy Chairperson
Security and Emergency Management professional with extensive experience across physical security operations, critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement, and strategic consulting. Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise-wide security programs, oversee high-risk operations, and provide executive-level guidance on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and organisational resilience in complex and evolving threat environments.

Basil Delimitros

Treasurer
Basil is an experienced Sales Executive with over 20 years of service in the electronic security industry. His involvement in the Electronic Security market began at the time when IP CCTV solutions were emerging and he has witnessed the evolution of an industry that now delivers intelligent systems for pro-active monitoring and surveillance use cases. Basil has extensive experience in the design of IP CCTV & IP Audio for Security systems.

Basil is excited to join the ASIS Victoria Chapter Committee to serve it's members and contribute to the Security Industry.

Laval Yu

Secretary
Laval is a Security Consultant with a background in electrical engineering, with over 7 years’ experience within the industry as a systems integrator and security consultant.

Throughout his career, Laval has worked on several projects within Australia across a range of sectors. He designed and delivered a variety of smart and secure premises in different sectors such as commercial, industrial, educational, and transport locally. He also provided advice and site assessment, was involved in project management and the development of customer specific security standards documentation.
Laval is driven by his passion about technology and delivering smart, secure and safe environment bringing value to his clients.

Laval joins the ASIS committee driven by his desire to contribute to the security industry.
